Christian County health department will close its building to the public effective Wednesday, March 18, as a precautionary measure to help slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We need to do all we can to protect the public and our employees. It is prudent to limit public access to our facilities at this time. Our department will continue to provide essential services to our WIC clients.
We will continue to monitor the situation and urge the public to follow the guidance from the Illinois Department of Health to stay home and self-isolate as much as possible.
Health Department staff can be reached by phone during regular business hours at 217-824-4113 and for emergencies or after hours at 217-820-1651.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
